Vidyarthi panch lakshanam

"Kak cheshta,
bako dhyanam,
shwan nidra,
alpahari,
grihatyagi,
...vidyarthi panch lakshanam"

Roughly translated
the five indications of a good student are

1) perseverance of a crow,
2) concentration of a swan,
3) light sleeper like a dog,
4) light eater,
5) staying away from home(means noise,emotions).

Everything is fine but why to eat little ! Khoob khao, thoda ghoom ke tummy halki kar lo...aur fir padho !

haan i think there's a logic behind this...a fuuny 1....frgv me...;)

luk the thing is..wen u dunn eat and concentrate on studies ..how can u sleep...no food in stomach makes a person awake fr the whole night..

and wen its boring the whole night,u take out a book and start reading....;)

accha nhai laga kya..lolz

Vako dhyanam means concentration of a crane, not swan

Above things are totally correct and ideal, but people have wrongly understood & interpreted it.

Good one.
But the sloka goes like this ..

Shwana Nidra,
Bako Dyanam,
Kaka Cheshta Thathai Vacha,
AlpaaHaari, Grihi Tyagi,
Vidyarthi Pancha Lakshanam.

- This also looks more appropriate as it has the rytham of a sloka as well.
