That means I am religious afterall...

Mathematics is a religion.
That a number multiplied by 1 will give the unit digit of the product as that in the number itself is something you were told to accept without questions. Just as you were told to believe in 'his' existance without questions.
That's why it's very much a religion. Or else what reason can you cite for 2 plus 3 being 5?

That your mumma told you so when you were young?
That Ms. Farzana told it to you at Greenwood Public School?

But you just believe it, don't you ! As much as you believe that someone exists who made this logical living system.

That's why most dissenters find it a religion. And it is the only religion that has been free from violence and dispute through the ages. It's the religion practiced by the largest number of people. And it's most logical of them all. Once you start believing some of its basic prophecies, everything begins to follow logically.
